Airport Woes

My wonderful Apple Airport wireless is giving me troubles. Of course it is not really the fault of the device. But rather my having to require the device be at less than premium settings to play nice with the various wireless devices in my apartment. What is driving me crazy is neighbors that have been changing their wireless names to obscure numbers and characters so when I startup my computer the airport card wants to select their wireless connection rather than mine! Sometimes I do not notice I have been innocently pirating broadband until my latest podcast download comes to a snails pace. Things will not change anytime soon because all the other vendors have to catch up with the always changing technology standards. Urgh!
